A VERY FINE AND RARE FIRST DAY USAGE OF THE 2-CENT ALASKA-YUKON ISSUE. ESPECIALLY DESIRABLE DUE TO THE CONTENTS, EXPOSITION LABEL, AND PARTIAL IMPRINT ON THE STAMP.
This is only the fifth 2c Alaska-Yukon FDC we have handled (including one other also in this sale). Our most recent offering was in McCusker Sale #110 (April 1998), where another related card sold for $6,750.
