373, Horizontal strip of three tied, along with a 16¢ green airmail (#C2), by Philadelphia Airmail Service duplex cancels, Aug. 1, 1918, on a small cover to "Egyptian Soudan", the strip is also tied by a Sudanese censor marking and there is a "Shellal-Halfa/T.P.O." (Nile riverboat) c.d.s. on the reverse dated Nov. 17, minor toning but otherwise a Very Fine and rare usage, the C2 paid the airmail postage to New York while the strip of three overpaid by 1¢ the U.P.U. surface rate.
